Orient Chandor Tank-style dress watch with a slim two-tone rectangular case. The gold dial is framed by black Roman numerals and it features a gemstone cabochon crown, adding a Cartier-style detail. At 27 x 35mm, the case has the proportions of a classic rectangular dress watch while retaining the clean, understated character of Japanese design.
Chandor was introduced by Orient in 1983 as a luxury line developed for the overseas market, with an emphasis on European-inspired dress-watch design. This example is fitted with a handmade black textured calfskin strap. The case shows light scratches, and the sapphire crystal and dial are free from visible wear.
