Seiko Dolce from the mid 1980s, with a rose gold-tone tungsten carbide case inspired by the Cartier Tank. The stepped flanks give the rectangular case a more architectural profile, while the silver-white dial is finished with applied gold-tone markers and hands lend a timeless appeal. An octagonal crown with a flat gemstone cabochon adds a subtle jewelry-like detail.

Dolce was one of Seiko's premium dress-watch lines, known for its slim cases, refined designs, and use of higher-end materials. Tungsten carbide is valued for its exceptional hardness and resistance to scratching, allowing the case to retain its finish with less wear than conventional case materials.

Overall, this example is in excellent condition with only very light scratches on the case. The sapphire crystal is free of scratches, and the dial shows no wear. The caseback has a Japanese commemorative engraving. This example is paired with a new black Saffiano calfskin strap with a gold-tone buckle.

The watch is modeled on a 16cm (6.3 inch) wrist.

Quality vintage watches are durable and designed for regular wear, but should still be treated with care due to their age. Like all vintage watches, this piece is no longer considered water resistant. It is currently running well at the time of listing, though future servicing or adjustment may eventually be required, like any watch of its age.
