Seiko minimalist Tank-style dress watch from 1980, with a remarkably clean rectangular case that reduces the traditional Tank form to its simplest expression, using only flat surfaces and straight lines. The champagne dial is kept equally simple, with applied gold-tone markers and matching gold-tone hands.
This watch comes from the early generation of Seiko's quartz dress watches that preceded the later Credor and Dolce lines. The case is finished in a gold-tone titanium nitride coating, a hard surface treatment that provides excellent resistance to scratching. This example is paired with a new black Saffiano leather strap with a gold-tone steel buckle.
The case shows only light scratches, while the sapphire crystal has no scratches and the dial shows some light wear, consistent with its age. Overall, this example is in excellent condition.
The watch is modeled on a 16cm (6.3 inch) wrist.
