This Seiko Presage SPB171 is a limited edition (just 2,000 made and long sold out) that mixes traditional Japanese art with thoughtful watchmaking. Its dial is made from Arita porcelain—pure white with gloss finish—and is inspired by the Heian-period tradition of Suigetsu, which celebrates the moon’s reflection on water. The deep blue hands, markers, and subdials echo moonlight on a pond.
It’s powered by Seiko’s 6R27 automatic/manual-wind calibre, giving you both a power-reserve indicator and a pointer-date in a clean way. The watch comes on the factory navy blue alligator strap with deployant clasp. It shows some light scratches but is in very nice condition.
The watch is modeled on a 16cm (6.3 inch) wrist.
