Rare early 1980s Seiko Tank-style dress watch with an exceptionally strong Cartier influence. The classic rectangular case is paired with a white lacquer dial, printed black Roman numerals, and black sword-style hands, creating the unmistakable look of a traditional Tank while retaining the unique style of early Japanese quartz design. The case adds a distinctive architectural element with stepped brancards in a two-tone platinum and gold finish, giving the watch an Art Deco character.
This example comes from the early generation of Seiko's quartz dress watches, just before the later Dolce line became established. At 26 x 34mm, the proportions give it a particularly versatile presence on the wrist. It is paired with a textured grey calfskin strap.
The case and Hardlex crystal show light scratches throughout, while the gold and platinum-tone plating remains fully intact. The dial and hands remain in excellent condition.
The watch is modeled on a 16cm (6.3 inch) wrist.

Quality vintage watches are durable and designed for regular wear, but should still be treated with care due to their age. Like all vintage watches, this piece is no longer considered water resistant. It is currently running well at the time of listing, though future servicing or adjustment may eventually be required, like any watch of its age.
