Seiko dress watch from 1980 with a platinum and gold-plated octagonal case and sculpted Cartier Vendôme-style lugs. The black dial has an old-world dress-watch character, pairing printed gold Roman numerals with applied gold markers and gently curved gold leaf-style hands. A gemstone cabochon crown completes the design.
This watch comes from the early generation of Seiko's quartz dress watches that preceded the later Credor and Dolce lines. The combination of the sculptural case, black dial, and precious-metal-inspired finishing gives it an unusually formal character for an early quartz watch. It is paired with a handmade black Saffiano leather strap.
The dial and hands remain clean, while the case shows light wear. The sapphire crystal is clean. Overall, this example is in very good condition.
The watch is modeled on a 16cm (6.3 inch) wrist.
